Printing for Museums, Galleries & Corporate Customers

Founded in 1975, Beckford Silk is first and foremost a manufacturing company.

We design, print and make, scarves and ties for heritage outlets and corporate customers and offer a complete manufacturing service from design development to screen making, proofing, printing, making up and packaging.

Design

We have over 30 years of experience in the development of scarf and tie designs for heritage and corporate customers.

After an initial consultation to discuss your requirements, our design team will work on a layout for your approval. We do not charge for this service if an order is forthcoming. If not, then we charge for our time at a modest hourly rate.

Screen Making

Each colour in a design requires one screen. We make our own screens and guarantee them for two years from the date of the last order. If after that time, a customer comes back with a re-order, then we charge a re-make cost of 50%.

Printing & Dyeing

We have the flexibility to print both small and large orders, with our minimum quantity being just 50 units.

We are also experienced in a variety of print and dye techniques:

• Direct dye printing
• Discharge printing
• Pigment printing
• Devoré printing & Dyeing
• Sculpted velvet printing

Making Up & Packaging

Beckford Silk scarves and ties are hand finished, labelled and individually packed in a choice of presentation boxes. We can also arrange for customised printed labels, woven labels, and printed card corners.
