Choose Your Own Colour
Minimum order quantity 10 metres
We are able to dye silks, velvets and devoré fabrics to a shade of your choice. This process is carried out here at Beckford. Send us a colour swatch (this can be fabric or paper but must be a flat colour) and we will endeavour to match it as closely as possible to what is called a commercial match.
The minimum order for dying in any one colour is JUST 10 metres for all other silks and velvet. However we are able to dye two different silk qualities 'side by side' at 5m each (i.e. 5m georgette and 5m satin dyed to the same shade). The prices quoted below include the cost of dying.
Please note that we can only offer this dying service for our own stock fabrics. We are not able to dye a customer's own cloth.
To order, simply click on the dyeable fabric of your choice and complete the order details. When you reach the checkout you will be given an order number. Make sure that you quote this number when you send us your colour swatch to match.
We are normally able to despatch your dyed fabric within two weeks of receiving your order.
You can order a swatch of the base fabric prior to placing your dying order however please note that the swatch is white. We cannot send you a swatch of your chosen colour prior to you placing your order, as the minimum amount of fabric that we can get on a dye winch is 10m.
